Beauty Shouldn't Harm

Clean, harmless beauty is at the core of who we are. Nourish Clean Beauty strives to curate non-toxic, transparent, and sustainable brands. Our ethos can be broken down into three simple statements.

1. Beauty shouldn't harm health.

It's written in our name: clean beauty. Our skin is our largest organ; we are what our skin consumes. We are well aware of the presence of toxic and harmful chemicals in mainstream beauty products, which bring adverse effects to our long-term health and even future generation.

Some of these harmful ingredients include possible human carcinogens such as formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, hormone disruptors such as parabens and phthalates, and skin sensitizers such as synthetic fragrance.

We believe these harmful substances should never appear in skincare and cosmetics, let alone on our delicate skin. Our products are therefore all clean, safe and environmentally-friendly.

2. Beauty shouldn't harm integrity.

Sometimes it’s not what they show. It’s what they don’t. We believe you have the right to know exactly what goes in our products and how they have been made. We insist on transparency. Nourish tells you the whole truth. We ensure the brands we select have documentation and certifications to back up their claims, such as natural, organic, Leaping Bunny, Ecocert, and EWG Verified.

3. Beauty shouldn't harm the planet.

Sorry, we won’t sacrifice the health & beauty of the planet in our quest to enhance yours. Our well-being depends on the well-being of Mother Nature. And that includes our planet's animals. That's why our curated brands are against animal testing; all our brands are 100% cruelty-free. We also curate brands that provide sustainable, eco-friendly products and packaging wherever possible.

Summer is around the corner and wearing your sunscreen consistently is more important than ever. However, there are some sunscreen ingredients that bring a negative impact on marine life. Oxybenzone and Octinoxate, for instance, are chemical UV blockers that are toxic to coral reefs1. A safer alternative would be mineral sunscreens containing active ingredients zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, such as Erbaviva Face & Body Sunscreen (SPF30).

If any of the above three ethos resonate with you, then Nourish Clean Beauty is the beauty and supplements platform for you.
